FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

HOW DO I ORDER A KNIT?

By getting in touch via email, via the website, or via DMs on Instagram. Due to pretty much all FABRAY pieces being custom-made, the website shop was taken down.

DELIVERY

All knits are shipped from London, United Kingdom.

Delivery fees are included in the final price. However, some taxes might apply depending on the country of delivery - please note responsibility to pay these taxes lies with the customer.

Please allow 2-3 weeks for a knit to be shipped (but always let it be known if a knit needs to be delivered by a certain date).

HOW ARE KNITS PRICED?

Final price calculations are based on the type of yarn requested, garment size, and time it would take to make the knit.

On average, it takes 20-30 hrs to knit a garment - when ordering a handmade knit, one pays for the time and craft that goes into making one.

ARE ALL KNITS HANDKNITTED?

All knits are hand knitted by Kate Fabray. No knitting machines are ever used, and work is never delegated to any third party.

HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF MY FABRAY KNIT?

Hand wash is always strongly advised. After washing a knit by hand, place it on a towel and roll it in, to get rid of any excess moisture. After that, place the knit on another dry towel, lay it flat and leave to air dry.

PUBLICATIONS/ COLLABORATIONS

FABRAY is always happy (and is honoured!) to collaborate with other creatives, and to lend knits for publications. All we ask is for the garments to be returned in exact conditions they were borrowed in.
